30 Years of Litz Wires, Craft and Connection

Lisbeth’s Story

In 1994, before estron had even officially opened its doors, a small information meeting at the local job centre gathered twelve curious individuals. Among them was Lisbeth.

She listened to the vision presented by founders Lars Elgaard and Allan Sorrig: A new company, a new way of working with precision litz wire technology. Lisbeth signed up, completed a comprehensive training programme in soldering, assembly, measurement techniques, epoxy handling, and production planning, and joined estron full-time in early 1995. She’s been part of our journey ever since.

From Production Floor to Frontline Support

Lisbeth began her career on the production line, mastering the details of assembly and litz wire structure, a skillset that still defines how she supports customers today.

When an elbow injury meant continuing in production was no longer possible, Lisbeth stepped into something new. She retrained and took on a new role in sales support, where her production insight became an asset to our customers.

Today, many of you know Lisbeth as part of our customer service team. What you may not know is that her ability to provide precise and fast support comes not just from training, but from three decades of hands-on experience with the very products we deliver.

“Having someone like Lisbeth on the team means that customers don’t just get answers, they get informed guidance,”

says Sales Director Annette Dodt.

A Milestone Worth Celebrating – It’s About People

As estron celebrates its 30th anniversary, it’s not just the technology or the milestones that we honour, it’s the people who made them possible. And few have shaped estron quite like Lisbeth.

Thank You, Lisbeth. Your contribution has made a real difference. Your presence reminds us that innovation isn’t just about materials and machines; it’s also about people.

Thank you also for sharing your story, and for keeping estron’s history alive.

Thirty years!

Just think about how much technology has changed in that time. When Lisbeth started, orders came in by fax or landline. No e-mails. No mobile phones. No internet. And the production technology has taken big leaps forward.

And perhaps most remarkably as Lisbeth reflected:

“We began as 12 colleagues. Today, estron is more than 500 people in Denmark and in Vietnam. I’ve said goodbye to some but have welcomed many more”.
