Optimized R&D structure

Optimized R&D structure for more efficient development of new solutions

Effective from March 2016, we have reorganized our research and development structure. Instead of two separate units for Hearing instruments and Audio components, estron has established one R&D unit.

With a consolidation of our development resources, estron shift to a more cross-organizational structure to create stronger and more efficient development of solutions and technologies.

Carit Laursen, newly appointed Head of R&D, will lead the process, ensure close cooperation throughout the organization and integrate new employees. Carit has as development engineer extensive experience building up and running R&D departments internationally. He has worked at estron since 2011, and we have benefitted from his wide knowledge particularly within acoustic performance and his strong focus on designing reliable and thoroughly tested products.

April 1 we welcomed a new engineer, Palle R. Sorensen. Palle contributes with more than 10 years of practical experience as technical project manager of international development projects. With his professional background as toolmaker and designer, he will drive projects from ideas to new reliable solutions together with the rest of the team and in close cooperation with customers.

Introducing Estron New Engineer

In addition to increasing in-house competencies and resources, estron has built a strong network of external technology partners. Partners, we can bring in for idea generation and problem solving when required.

With this new robust setup, we believe to respond more flexibly, dynamically and timely to changing demands, and to achieve greater technological strength and management. In this way, estron will be an even stronger partner contributing to the growth of your future business.
