CPT™ Litz Wires
Affordable and Reliable Solutions for Hearing Instruments

CPT™ traditional standard wire is an affordable and versatile wire series, pre-cut and pre-tinned for easy use. Typically applied for internal wiring in hearing instruments and in-ear monitors (IEMs), these wires are made from pure copper and coated with a single layer of polyurethane enamel.

Litz Wires:

Litz wires are highly flexible but relatively sensitive, offering excellent fatigue resistance. They also prevent acoustic feedback, making them ideal for use in transducers, microphones, and battery springs.

Solid Wires:

While strong, solid wires are less flexible and can be challenging to handle during assembly, particularly in in-the-ear (ITE) devices. They may also cause acoustic feedback. Solid wires are often used in trimmers, volume controls, and in some cases, microphones and battery springs.
